Clanfair Mary Kay is a 2004 Section D Welsh Cob mare with an excellent dressage pedigree that includes many Welsh Pony and Cob Society of America (WPCSA) Legion of Merit winners.

At her 2010 ISR/Oldenburg NA inspection, Mary Kay received many 8’s with an overall score of 109. She was awarded Mare Book Premium status, received ISR/Oldenburg NA’s second place for the 2010 High Score Mare Award, and was placed in the star program. Mary Kay’s grandsire is Kentchurch Chime, one of the first ponies to compete in FEI dressage. He won the Region 9 Grand Prix championship and produced many FEI-level competitors.

Mary Kay has given us five outstanding foals: Jovee Mercedez, a 2009 filly by Makuba; three foals by Popeye (Princi, a 2010 filly; Phenix, a 2012 stallion now at stud; Peppermynt Pati, a 2014 filly), and Hansel, a 2015 colt by Hilkens Black Delight. Mary Kay is currently in foal again to Hilken's Black Delight for a 2016 foal. ( For more information about this outstanding stallion, see the website for the Haras de Feuillard stud farm in France.)
